Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 18, 2025

Introduction

RMQ is a native macOS application for managing RabbitMQ servers. Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how RMQ handles your data.

Data Collection

RMQ is a local desktop application that does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All connection credentials, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Local Storage

RMQ stores the following data locally on your Mac:
  • RabbitMQ server connection details (hostnames, ports, credentials)
  • Application preferences and settings
  • Window positions and UI state

Network Communication

RMQ only communicates with RabbitMQ servers that you explicitly configure. No data is sent to third parties or our servers. All connections are made directly from your device to your RabbitMQ instances.

Analytics and Tracking

RMQ does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or any other data about how you use the application.

Third-Party Services

RMQ does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, except for the RabbitMQ servers you explicitly configure.

Data Security

Your connection credentials are stored securely in macOS Keychain. We recommend using secure connections (SSL/TLS) when connecting to RabbitMQ servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the application and on this page.
